The construction of The Views was a complex and challenging project that involved cutting-edge technology, engineering and design. The project required the excavation of more than 1.5 million cubic meters of sand, and the installation of more than 40 kilometers of pipes and cables. Additionally, the project used more than 500,000 cubic meters of concrete and 70,000 tons of steel.
One of the most remarkable aspects of The Views was the creation of the artificial canal that runs through the community, and connects to the Dubai Canal. The canal is 3.5 kilometers long and 40 meters wide, with a depth of 6 meters. It took more than two years to complete the canal, and it involved: diverting the water flow, building bridges and culverts as well as landscaping the banks.
The construction of The Views also involved strict adherence to environmental standards and sustainability practices. The project used recycled materials, energy-efficient lighting, water-saving fixtures, solar panels and waste management systems. The Views also incorporated green spaces, gardens, parks and walkways to enhance the quality of life and well-being of its residents.

The Views was launched in 2004 as part of the master plan of Emirates Living, a mega-development by Emaar Properties. The Emirates Living development includes: The Springs, The Meadows, The Lakes and Emirates Hills. The Views was designed to offer a modern and urban lifestyle in a serene and natural setting, with lush greenery, water features and scenic views.
The first phase of The Views was completed in 2008, followed by the second phase in 2010 and the third phase in 2012. The final phase, which includes The Fairways and The Links towers, was completed in 2014. The Views has since become one of the most popular and prestigious residential communities in Dubai, attracting residents from different nationalities and backgrounds.
